A family member sent it to us about a year ago.

Explanation: Well the Sock Monkey is mine from when I was a child.
The picture is a "Shadow Portrait" where the person uses...well shadow to draw a siloute of your face onto black paper then cuts it out (its of me). The fan is a victorian style fan that belongs to my mother as well as the little dangling necklace that the monkey has on it.
The cobwebs on the monkey have no story though.

Explanation: We bought this gramophone player from a friendly old widow who's husband was a known musician. This beautiful piece of technology with it's memories is now in our living room having a second life.

Proof:
<img150*0:stuff/558Proofpudding.jpg>
Date: July 1st 2009; Location: My house, Coventry, England
Explanation: The time travelers dropped by today. They had traveled from the 1870s, and when I met them on this hot day, they looked positively exhausted, so I invited them to come by my house to get out from the sun, to have a drink and to rest for a minute. They were very nice company, and they weren't much phased by any of our modern inventions, even though we had something of an argument about Charles Dickens. They refused my request to go back with them, then we traded gifts, and I took this photo as a last memory of their brief, refreshing visit.

7. "Stained Pages" - [sweet.tx.tea]
<img300*0:http://elftown.eu/img/photo/73640_1247585991.jpg>
Proof:
TO COME! I do not have it at work...:/ Only select pictures on this computer.
Date: July 14, 2009; Location: [sweet.tx.tea]'s room; Explaination: I have a fascination with old books. This specific one traveled all the way from Germany with my great grandfather; it was the only book he had in English. The ink-quill pen was a gift from my mother, years ago when I was trying to figure the art of calligraphy. The more calligraphy looking pen was used by my grandmother when she was a child, as well as the ink. My grandmother is now 84. As for the glass next to it, that is a kerosene lamp. I am not certain as to its origin, but, it certainly seemed to fit.

8. "In Memoram" - [windowframe]

Date:August 28th, 2009, Location: The back steps to my house. Explanation: A collection of very old milk jars I found which were covered in dust and spiderwebs.

10. "From The Past" - [Kelaria]

<img300*0:stuff/FromThePast.jpg>
Proof:
<img150*0:stuff/FromThePastProof.jpg>
Date: September 14th, 2009. Location: My bedroom.
Explanation: This stuffed bear and donkey both belonged to my mother when she was a baby! There is actually a photo that used to hang in my childhood bedroom that is of my mother holding this exact same bear when she was about 1-year-old! The bear and donkey are mine now and hold a lot of special meaning for me.

2009-06-25 [Alexi Ice]: *Ish confused* M.J. Just died...how weird. *shrugs*
 So, I wonder how many more entrants we will get before September?

2009-06-26 [dawn bolly]: *smashes himself* seen the great picture in my mind butmy camara wasnt with me :(

2009-06-26 [Alexi Ice]: I hate it when that happens.

2009-07-01 [Lord Josmar]: Ack! Trying to post pictures and it aint working.

2009-07-01 [Alexi Ice]: It isn't? How are you posting them?

2009-07-01 [Lord Josmar]: I tried doing the upload photo while editing the wiki and it wasn't doing anything. It may just be the fact that its Internet Explorer.

2009-07-01 [Alexi Ice]: You tried doing the upload photo while editing the wiki? Did you remember the <img:> tag?

2009-07-01 [Lord Josmar]: No. I have never posted individual photos into a wiki.

2009-07-01 [Alexi Ice]: Oh! Well, once you get the properties tag of the photo (do you know how to do that?)

2009-07-02 [Cillamoon]: Gah! My lord Josmar, I hope you are going to reveal what you are submitting to us all very shortly! I am eager to see your photo!

2009-07-02 [Lord Josmar]: Well i tried to post it just now but the pic is much larger then I thought. Not like whole page large, but it was still the largest pic here.

2009-07-02 [Cillamoon]: So when the image code appears after uploading, I'm assume it's set for img500, just change it to like img300 or 200. That should work, then when we click on the image it will go to a larger version if that is what we desire to see.

2009-07-02 [Lord Josmar]: Wow...when compared to the other photos it really looks amatuer.

2009-07-02 [Cillamoon]: WOW! Amazing new submissions! All of them really are great, but these last couple just popped up out of nowhere! Love the record player!

2009-07-02 [Cillamoon]: No, it doesn't look amatuer Josmar, it's good actually. Well at least I think it looks well done. :) I can't speak for anyone else. It has it's own sense of meaning, just as do all the others, which one could percieve as being the point of this. At least that would be what I would imagine if it were my contest. Ack! I'm rambling!

2009-07-02 [Alexi Ice]: Thank you Cillamoon for helping Lord Josmar out. I think they all look amazing! I can't wait to see what else people submit as time moves forward!!!

2009-07-02 [Lord Josmar]: Lolz. I tried to find something for the background and to put under them, but nothing was big enough.

2009-07-02 [Alexi Ice]: I think it looks just fine the way it is. They are all unique and meaningful! I love it!! <3

2009-07-02 [Lord Josmar]: Thanks, and thank you Akane and Cillamoon for helping me figure it out. Hopefully it will be the last time I have to ask for help.

2009-07-02 [Alexi Ice]: Don't worry about it! If you do need anymore help, feel free to message me. I certinally don't mind!

2009-07-02 [Cillamoon]: I don't mind either. ^_^
